A learning experience, for sure

Well, the tournament's over! Both unho and i had a tough day at the office during the final round. i shot 74 and Unho 78. After four days of golf, we both finished 9-over for the tournament.
Coincidence? It's anyone's guess.
We ended up well back in joint 64th place. Unho said he didn't get anything going and couldn't make any putts. I actually got off to a good start by birdieing the first hole. You know what they say about birding the first hole? Well, I bore the brung of that superstition. Unfortuately, it was all downhill from there.
I did something on Sunday that I've never done before in my life - I had a double hit with my putter! I was really shocked to say the least, There was a little tuft of grass behind my ball, which was sitting just off the green and when i putted it, it came out dead and i hit it again with my follow through The one stroke penalty made my day even worse!
If there was one word to describe the past week it would be frustrating. I cannot remember the last time I made so many bogeys after hitting good shots. But still, it was a good learning experience.
We're both now in Paris and will be looking forward to climbing the Eiffel Tower, and visiting the Mona Lisa at the Louvre. Who knows, we may even find Quasimodo at Notre Dame!!
See you all back home.
