There may be the best players from Asia and the world playing on Serapong this week, but one of the true stars of the Barclays Singapore Open surely must be the golf course itself. Even after the torrential downpours and the lack of sun, the emerald blankets that the pros are playing on continues to maintain its pristine conditions and integrity. Much of it is due to the reconstruction done by The Bates Design Group on the Ronald Fream course a couple of years ago. We caught up with Andrew Johnston from the company who gave us some idea of what they did.
