Bombers rule
Bomb and gouge couldn’t have had a better day when TaylorMade launched the 2009 Burner Driver recently in Singapore. Anyone loving the thought of just stepping up and blasting one down the fairway would love what the Burner Driver provides. And when they realise the kind of technology that goes into the 2009 version, it won’t take much for them to bite.
Following on the highly successful Burner design, the next-generation Dual Crown Technology offers a large powerbase to lower centre of gravity (CG) in the clubhead to help promote a high launch and low spin. As with most of TaylorMade’s woods, the SuperFast Technology is, once again, there with a RE*AX 49g shaft that measures 46? inches to help increase swing and ball speed. And, once again, the TaylorMade Inverted Cone Technology expands the sweet spot on the hitting surface while the stable, high-moment of inertia (MOI) clubhead aims to provide more consistent distance to all hits.
