Hole 1-4

HOLE 1 PAR 4, 365 METRES, HANDICAP 13 The course starts sensibly with a straightaway par-4 that plays to the waters of MacRitchie Reservoir. A good drive will leave a short iron onto the hole, but players need to mind the two greenside bunkers and compensate for the change in elevation from fairway to green.		HOLE 2 PAR 3, 187 METRES, HANDICAP 15 Bukit quickly ups the ante from the second hole. This long par 3 is a difficult one with trees and bunkers trapping shots hit short and left, and a fall off on the right that – if the players find themselves there - demands a pitch onto a blind green.

HOLE 3 PAR 4, 367 METRES, HANDICAP 7 Nothing fancy about this hole, but often it plays long especially during the rainy season. The green can be a challenge as it slopes from back to front, and shots hit past the putting surface makes getting up and down a tricky proposition.		HOLE 4 PAR 5, 496 METRES, HANDICAP 3 Drives here need to negotiate the chute that defines the narrow fairway. But once golfers avoid the wall of trees right and left of this, there is little trickery left. Those not going for the green in two should lay up on the right side to avoid the tall tree on the left.
