SINGAPORE GOLF COURSE RANKING AND GUIDE

TANAH MERAH COUNTRY CLUB'S GARDEN IS NO.1

Our biennial ranking of Singapore’s golf courses is out, and we have a new number one. Tanah Merah Country Club’s Garden Course pipped Sentosa Golf Club’s Serapong to the top spot in 2011.

Beyond this changing of the guard at the top, there was also considerable movement throughout the list. Singapore Island Country Club’s three courses made it into the top ten, and so did Raffles Country Club’s Palm Course, long considered one of Singapore’s most challenging layoutS.

This year, our non-partisan review panel rated courses based on 18-hole layouts. This means that clubs that have multiple nine-hole configurations were rated on 18-hole combinations (e.g. NSRCC and Orchid Country Club).

As always, our ratings are conducted by non-partisan and experienced golfers (competitive and recreational), and golf industry professionals not related to any Singapore golf club.

Golf Digest Singapore maintains a neutral stand with regards to the rating process, and only consolidates the results obtained from the review panel.
