It's official. Cobra Golf and Puma have finalised their merger and launched their new logo and name - Cobra Puma Golf. In a special media event held in Tokyo, Japan, last December, journalists from Japan and selected Asian countries (including Golf Digest Singapore) were invited to the Cobra Puma Golf Brand Center in the capital city to not only view the company's latest offerings, but to understand the strategy of golf's latest merged marque. Bob Philion, President of Cobra Puma Golf, flew in from California, U.S.A. to let us in one why these are exciting times for the company.

T.P. Mills putters are arguably one of the last bastions of hand-made clubs designed and constructed in the U.S.A. This exclusivity is part of the premium value placed on these beautifully crafted putters. David Mills, son of founder T.P. Mills, was in Singapore late last year to launch his partnership with Transview Golf, who will be carrying his clubs at their Singapore outlets. David, who learned the skills of putter-making from his father, talks about the philosophies surrounding T.P. Mills clubs, their characteristics, and some of the aspects that make them unique.

Tiger Woods finally makes it to Singapore. Selected guests of Marina Bay Sands got a special invitation to attend an exclusive golf clinic conducted at the World Classic Course at Laguna National Golf and Country Club by the former world number one golfer. It can be remarkable how much you can learn from watching some of the best golfers in the world swing a golf club. SETTING UP THE SERAPONG COURSE FOR THE BARCLAYS SINGAPORE OPEN 2011
The weather may have played havoc with the players and the golf course, but with over a hundred course maintenance professionals on call, Andrew Johnston had the situation under control. The Barclays Singapore Open 2011 was plagued with typical November monsoon disposition, and given the deluge of rain over most afternoons during championship week, the maintenance team that Johnston commands had its hands full. But the tournament, albeit shortened, completed successfully, and the course stood up to test. Johnston talks to Golf Digest Singapore Editor Ju K. Tan about how he set up the course, the challenges that they faced, and how he managed to incorporate the help from over 50 superintendents around the world to help out.
